As a family-owned company Sarah's Silks has been importing sustainably-produced, hand-woven silks from China for many years. Sarah sources her materials from a village near Suzhou, where the workers, mostly women working from home, weave, dye, sew and iron the silk products.

Hand-wash with mild shampoo or dish soap and warm water. Color-fast. Hang dry, and iron on medium to restore shine.

We LOVE this silk! We gave it to our youngest daughter to line her Easter basket, And since then it has been a cape, sand on the beach, a doll wrap and a blanket. Beautiful quality

I purchased one green and blue one for my children to use with their animals. They also enjoy using them to make cubbies, dolls blankets and dress ups. Both colours are stunning.

Beautiful colours and feel

I bought my son two more playsilks after he loved his rainbow silk so much. The colours are divine and they feel so light and airy. He loves hiding underneath for a game of peekaboo. Or we drape them over our pikler to build a cubby. However what he loves the most is wearing it as a cape and run around the house being a super hero 😍

Gorgeous colours and feel

Our silks are very loved even on day 2 of having them! My 11mo loves feeling them, playing peekaboo, carrying it around and even putting it on the dog and playing peekaboo with the dog. They are so soft and the Earth colours are just magical.
