100 Day Return Policy

Our main goal at Oskar’s Wooden Ark is to offer you a selected range of high quality wooden toys and that you are 100% satisfied with your purchased and selected items. Sometimes it is hard ordering online, and if you do decide prior to opening the delivered product it is not quite what you are after, we will happily provide you with a full refund for the product, or an exchange within 100 days from the date of purchase.

If you return an item to us for exchange or refund under our 100 day return policy and it has been assembled, removed from its original packaging and re-packed, or the packaging is ripped or damaged we will be unable to provide you with a full refund equivalent to the purchase price.

If you are returning a product under this policy, you will need to pay the shipping for the return of the product to us, and we will not be held responsible for lost, stolen or damaged return deliveries. We recommend that you ensure that the parcel is appropriately packed and returned to us via a trackable shipping method so that you have proof of dispatch and delivery.

Please note - if you were sent your item as part of our free delivery service for orders over $150, and your return brings your total order to less than $150, then you will be refunded for the item, less the $10 delivery charge you would have incurred for the remaining order (ie order under $150). If you return a complete order for refund, the actual cost of our postage to send this to you will be deducted from your refund.

Before returning a product, we highly recommend, you contact us first so we can advise the address for return shipping, and any special return instructions for the product.

Clearance, sale items and LAYBYS are excluded from the 100 day return policy, and cannot be returned.

Faulty, Damaged or Incorrect Products

Our Customer Care and Warehouse Team work hard to supply the correct products of the highest quality. In a busy warehouse, mistakes or oversights can occur, and should this happen to your order, please contact us and together we can work out a solution.

To help us rectify any discrepancies, we ask you check your items upon delivery, and to contact us within 7 days if there is anything that needs further attention. 

Before sending back any returns, please contact us and we can advise any special conditions, and to ensure we know what is to happen upon receiving your return.

We love wood because it is a natural material so it always has various markings that show up in our products, making each one unique. Many of our toy makers, including Grimm's, Ostheimer & Grapat, are producing natural, sustainable wooden toys from real wood. Part of the beauty and result of nature, is the unique markings that are revealed in the toys. Wood grain has changing structures and colours which can be seen as proof of it's natural origins. The unique variations are proof of the toy’s quality and not a defect. Our toys are always one a kind, carrying unique marks made by nature. Discover the markings that make your toys simply unique!

Recycled Packaging and Eco Awareness

From the draft to the finished product all our wooden toys pass through many hands while they are designed, sawed out, sanded, rubbed-off, painted with non-toxic stain and oiled. The lumber comes from sustainable and local forestry.

As a business that promotes environmentally-friendly products we also understand the importance of using recycled shipping boxes where possible. So it is very likely that our packaging material has already been used once, most likely in transportation to our warehouse.

Whatever packaging we choose, above all, we can assure you that we will do everything we can to ensure that your product arrives safely, undamaged and packed well. And that is the most important thing, right?
