With the Weather Chart from Oskar's Wooden Ark, young children will find themselves drawn to nature more often, inviting them to learn about our environment such as weather conditions and temperatures in an easy, beautiful way.
The weather chart is crafted from solid maple hardwood and features prints of Jennifer's own original watercolour paintings. It's more than beautiful, it also encourages interactive learning with its Today's Weather spinning wheel and temperature dial.
Two versions to choose from:
- "Weather Chart Only" is easily portable and can be hung on the wall
- "With Table Top Stand" can be easily removed and attached, you can place it on top of shelves, windowsills, dressers, counters, and tables
Add one of the accessories, calendars and coins from the selection above - for a more engaging, educational experience. Extensions and additional coins will let you add Moon Phases, and lots of fun activities, plan the day or a holiday and watch the seasons.
NOTE: From Jennifer are handmade in the US and due to the different temperature, climate and humidity in Australia, and the natural quality of wood, occasionally this item may experience a slight bow/curve in the wood.

Encourage active participation in the daily rhythm and planning with your child. Perhaps they can help plan the week, the day, the month, and they may enjoy flipping each coin or removing them to the storage box when an activity is completed or a special occasion passed.
Let your children look outside the window to see what the weather is like today and they will learn to choose the appropriate weather coin to hang up. Help them to learn numbers when picking the right one for each day of the month. Help them to learn the seasons and the names of the months.
