Grimm's Puzzle Landscape

$118.00

With the exceptional shapes of the Grimm's landscape building blocks, children can create flowing landscapes, with hills and mountains, water and trees as well as houses and caves. The arcs can decorate buildings as roofs and the pointed pieces can become strong battlements or merlons on castles and other fortifications.
The organic, curved shapes inspire children to develop fine motor skills and spatial thinking skills through block play.

Materials: lime wood, non-toxic water based color stain/non-toxic plant based oil finish.

Frame L = 28 cm; 14 pieces: single blocks 2cm thickness.

Recommended Age 3+ years

Vibrant and versatile

Simply beautiful as a completed puzzle in its own right, but also versatile for play. Besides the puzzle aspect we use the landscape pieces in other play, as in the photo where the 'rolling hills by the water' are used for a car to drive through with the sunset a lovely backdrop. We've had fun seeing what pieces can stand up on their ends and how we can balance different pieces and build arches for house roofs etc. At the end of the day I just love the vibrant colours of the puzzle put back to together as a picture! Never ceases to make me smile.
