I got this to be part of my 4.5 year olds Advent calendar this year, and he really loves it. He loves numbers, and is starting to get into board games, so he has really been loving using this as a dice.
We have also been using it playing games where we will take turns spinning it, and he will add up the numbers as a running score. Great for maths, turn taking, and also fine motor skills.

I started my number loving 2 year old's Mader collection with this top and it has not disappointed. He is able to spin it using a starter from another top and gets great delight spinning it and guessing which number it will land. As expected the quality is stunning. I brought this Dice spinning top for my son's 9th birthday, to add to our family Mader collection and it is the loveliest one I have seen yet, the warm wood tone and finish is beautiful & high quality. My son loves it, and it is much bigger than expected but the perfect size for ease of use. This spinner has even inspired my son to create a simple maths game to play with his sister - any toy that can hold my childrens interest and help keep them away from screentime is a huge winner in my eyes.

This is a lot bigger than I’ve imagined, which is great because it spins well even on the dimpled playmat. My husband loves it too... he often plays yahtzee with his family so this is going to be a great addition to the family game!
