The Wooden Maple Multiplication Hundred Geoboard from Oskar’s Wooden Ark is outfitted with 100 total pegs and has engraved numbers along the left side and bottom.
It can be used to teach children their times tables, quickly gathering pegs inside the rubber bands to show any combination of multiplication from 1x1 to 10x10. You can separate each group in its own rubber band or combine all groups into one. It's a great way to demonstrate what is actually happening during the multiplication process.
Other uses for this board include setting it up as a bar or line graph, showing percentages, and calculating all mathematical processes: division, multiplication, addition, and subtraction.
For a creative approach, use it like any other geoboard to make shapes, letters, numbers, and pictures using rubber bands or yarn to wrap around the pegs.
