Helene's Captive Rings

Helene masters the technique of "captive rings" masterfully. The Mader Helene Spinning Tops are worked out in one piece of wood and thus remain connected forever. Their gyros are unique and consist of only one piece of very fine-grained fruitwood. Everybody who will look closely at this masterpiece will see the proof by the course of the grain.

Please note that the Mader Helene Limited Edition is not part of the regular range and is only made by Klaus Mader via special request and if he has access to a suitable piece of wood. We have been very lucky and received a small number of them.

The perfect gift!

Tiny dancer

Helene was a gift to myself, definitely a petite piece of woodwork art so I would only recommend for older more responsible children or adults. I love watching her dance on the mini plate, it’s like watching a hula hoop dance!

I love my Helene - it's such a beautiful piece and makes the most delicate twinkling noise as it spins thanks to the inbuilt wood rings. It really is so delicate and gorgeous. Would highly recommend this piece of art
