Bumbu Toys was founded in 2018 by Vitalie and Marina Bumbu. Vitalie, a skilled woodworker, shapes each figure, transforming humble blocks of wood to characters sprung from the deepest corners of a child's imagination. Marina then brings her artist's brush to the creations - adorning each figure with enchanting details using a varied palette of non-toxic hues.
Together with an ever-growing team, they meticulously craft toys that transcend play-things, becoming childhood treasures and family heirlooms - handcrafted with an eco-conscious ethos, intertwining whimsy and folklore with master craftsmanship.
From their quaint workshop in Romania, the heart-warming tale of BumbuToys is one that is unfolding across the globe, and we are delighted to be able to offer their charming wooden animals and figurines here in Australia.
