Consider buying individual tops

Beautiful tops and no issues with the tops but the rating is more about the value of the set. Consider buying individual tops to make your own starter collection unless you really want the miniature which is really only suitable for much older kids. I also didn’t realise that the Rallyes are smaller than the Large Ralley sold individually. Personally also did not see the need for 2 Ralleys in the starter set.

Amazing quality

Received the parcel yesterday in time to put away for Christmas but I couldn't help just taking a quick look (and play!) At the spinning tops, superb quality and so beautifully made, the colours are lovely also. Thank you OWA!

Beautiful Set

Purchased this set for our first Mader experience and absolutely love them. Beautifully crafted and finished they are a joy to look at as well as play with. The ralleye tops are great for the kids and adults alike and the harder tops like the thunderbolt are wonderful for the grownups and older children to have a go while the younger ones watch with applause when it finally gets spinning. Would highly recommend for a starter set.

Fun for a 27 year old!

I like to work and fidget with things as I work, and sit in meeting while working from home! These have been so much fun! Purchased a few and I’m loving it so far!

Great set for learning but not beginner

I purchased this set as I thought learning set meant it would be a beginner set. I don't think it's easy enough to be a beginner set - some of the tops are very tricky and you would be better off to buy the rallyes with a few beginner tops to start for younger kids. This is much better for slightly older kids and those who enjoy the small spinning top (which is delightfully cute and not as tiny as the single small top in glass).
Good fun for learning if your patient and persistent. The thunderbolt is almost impossible for us so far! Lots of practice
