Recently purchased this set for my 18 month old. He was getting frustrated with smaller blocks falling over/being too difficult to stack straight. These blocks are fantastic and a favourite item in our house now - even my hubby and I get excited to play with them daily with our son. He can easily stack them high, builds houses for his stuffed animals etc. They can easily be incorporated into other games. They're large and grippy, and smell amazing. Fantastic quality. I can't recommend them highly enough!

So looking forward to gifting these to my son at Christmas. We have tried a non Grimm’s set with smaller pieces and my son has found them very hard to stack and manipulate. These are such a great size for little hands.

Another fantastic Grimms product that has added yet another element to our building !! These beautiful blocks are amazingly solid and perfect for stacking. My girls (3 and 5) instinctively got the building boards out immediately to use with these blocks and have also enjoyed using them in contamination with our rainbows which has really mixed up their play and challenged their building skills. Highly recommend these for all ages! Can't wait to get stuck into some serious ball runs too!

Wow these are huge! They are a solid weight and easy to stack. My 17 month old has started to stack some blocks into towers, which he hadn't really been interested in previously. I think the size made big difference. Beautiful finish as always and so smooth to hold. The natural grain really shows :)

We gave our son the giant wooden blocks for his 1st birthday. It took me a long time to decide on his first block set but so glad I chose these as they are huge (great for little hands ) they are smooth and the wood smells lovely. Even my 7 yr old builds amazing structures including the rainbow & building boards. Great investment!

I was hesitant to buy these blocks because there are not many for the price but i am so glad I did. We use them with all our other grimms items to make towers, ball runs and houses. Both my 9 month old and 2.5yr old loves them.

I bought these for our 9 month old and have slowly started introducing the blocks to him. While he is curious about these, he mainly just eats them.
I, however, love the quality of these blocks - they are solid, a good weight and I take comfort in knowing that these are safe and non-toxic for baby as he puts the blocks in his mouth - and am having so much fun with them. I'm looking forward to when we can play with these together.

Bought them for my little ones birthday coming up in October and he has spotted them and had already been trying to play with them early so I took them out and wow he loves them! We have spent the last two days playing with them every morning and afternoon! And they are so cool to build his motor skills and introduce him to ball runs! We are so in love with this set! Another amazing Grimm’s product. Fabulous for my 2yo who likes to stack them up and knock them down. My 9yo girls use them in conjunction with other Grimm’s products to make ball runs, castles and elaborate buildings. They are a great starting option for toddlers.

These blocks are beautiful and they smell so good!
I’m glad I chose the giant set to start with. My 2.5yo is able to stack 3 or 4 pieces and, tada! She has built a tower in just a few moments. I think this has made the set so engaging and inviting for her whereas a smaller set might not have captured her attention straight away.
