The NEW Wobbel Lite Lacquered brings all the joy of Wobbel play in a lighter, sleeker form tailored for little movers. Easier to lift, flip, and store, it’s a go-to for smaller kids and families short on space or always on the go!
The New Wobbel Lite vs Wobbel Original – What Sets Them Apart?
The Wobbel Lite is a fresh take on the classic Wobbel Original, especially designed with younger children in mind. While both boards encourage balance, movement, and imaginative play, the Lite is slightly smaller, thinner, and lighter—making it easier for little ones to lift, flip, and explore. It’s still strong and durable, but more manageable for tiny hands. The Original remains the go-to for family-wide use, while the Lite offers a more accessible option for children from 1.5 years, without compromising on quality or play value.

Learn more about Wobbel Balance Boards...
Before a child can articulate what balance means, they can feel it. Before they understand tension, they’ve already pulled something taut between two points. Before they learn what a lever does, they’ve used one.
The resources in this collection invite children into physical, hands-on encounters with the principles that underpin science and engineering — through movement, making, and whole-body play.
No instructions. No screen. Just a child, some beautifully designed tools and materials, and a problem worth solving with their whole self.
Rooted in the Netherlands, Wobbel creates beautifully crafted balance boards that bring together movement, mindfulness, and imagination. Each board transforms from a fitness tool into a baby rocker, a kids' lounge, a ramp for toy cars, a wall for small-world towns, or anything a child imagines. Wobbel boards are proudly made through green production, and fair labour practices with sustainable wood, ethical wool, and other eco-friendly, child-safe materials. Trusted by families, educators, and children since 2015, Wobbel reflects true European craftsmanship and timeless design.
The Wobbel Philosophy: Play is Enough. Every child already carries the seeds of learning within, and Wobbel simply offers the invitation for open-ended play. Rooted in Waldorf and Montessori principles, it grows from early childhood to teenage years and beyond. Choosing Wobbel is a quiet act of trust in your child’s imagination, supporting lifelong movement, connection and discovery.
I have just recently received this as a gift for my son's second birthday. He went straight into it to rock side to side and then enjoyed playing with it as a slide. Will have to get some tracks and use it also as a bridge next... The quality is marvellous too! I will consider adding a deck and pillow too. I thought it would have been slightly bigger, but I have an original size one at work and that would have been huge for our space. So the lite version is just right!
