Grimm’s Wooden Toys are crafted in Germany by a family-owned company dedicated to open-ended play, natural materials and timeless design. Since 1978, they have created sustainably made wooden toys that support creativity, learning and meaningful everyday moments for children and adults alike.
Each piece is designed with simple forms, soft colours and tactile wooden textures that invite children to build, stack and imagine freely. Guided by Waldorf and Montessori principles, Grimm’s toys encourage exploration, problem-solving and imaginative thinking without limits or instructions.
Made from sustainably sourced alder, beech, lime and maple wood, every toy is carefully finished using safe, non-toxic colour stains. Built to last for generations, Grimm’s supports fine motor development, sensory learning and creative confidence through beautifully crafted wooden play.

Perfect gift
This was such a perfect Christmas gift for my little almost-2 niece. She is around that age that she’s just about to start loving imaginative play and everyone was amazed at how quickly she engaged with these little critters. The colour scheme on this particular set is so pretty and appealing for my sister in law too.

Perfect for little hands
I got these for my 11 month old daughter. The colours are Devine! She can easily grasp onto these and loves pushing them off the coffee table 🤦🏽♀️ Or carrying one in each hand as she crawls around. A gorgeous set that compliments our pastel rainbow beautifully.

Little friends
Astrid (1yr) absolutely loves her little pastel friends. She carrys them around with her around the house and even outside. I'm forever keeping them away from our pug but they're her favourite toy.

Pastel friends colour match with the rainbow
All 3 children (5, 3 & 1) play with their little friends everyday. They have them slide down the Grimms wooden boards, make them little homes in the rainbow, and make mandalas for the OWA family challenges. The Pastel friends are the perfect match for your pastel rainbow and next we will be getting the natural rainbow and semi circles to extend on making homes for our pastel friends!
