The Gluckskafer Play Kitchen is a prime example of Gluckskafer's outstanding workmanship and high-quality craft.

All parts of the Gluckskafer Play Kitchen (with the exception of the sink and door handles) are made from sustainably sourced beech and linden wood. A very robust piece of furniture that will be played with through many generations of star chefs.

Finished in natural based oils which allow the beautiful, warm wood grain to remain exposed. Solid wood doors, sides and bench top, with high quality European beech plywood for the back board and drawer bottoms.

The Play Kitchen features a stainless steel sink with a faucet and taps, a three-burner stove, an oven with two baking trays and a cupboard. The delightful red dials on the stove produce a striking "clack" when turned and the sink is removable to add that extra element of fun.

Imitating the everyday actions of adults in the home is considered to be a very important step in the development of children and the preparation and cooking of food is certainly an important one. Children as young as one are already eager to learn how to cut their own apples or pour their own orange juice. In their own Gluckskafer Play Kitchen, all these experiences can be replayed independently and most importantly safely.

Wooden Play Kitchen

Our almost 2-year-old grandaughter just loves her new play kitchen! While she and her family live in Australia and we're in the United States, she "serves us" goodies from her kitchen through our FaceTime calls (and we are more than happy to indulge)! We love the classic design and the high-quality craftsmanship of this product and will be looking for additional items from Oskar's Wooden Ark to purchase throughout our granddaughter's childhood.

Wow!!

Such a beautiful heirloom piece, beautiful wood grain, gorgeous finishes and features such as the magnetised door on the oven and the clicks from the knobs when you turn them. Some storage for play food in the cupboard. Overall another gorgeous piece which wouldn’t look out of place in a kitchen or open living space.
