Bumbu Magical Worlds

Artisan Wooden Worlds For Imaginative Play

In the heart of Transylvania, steps away from Dracula’s castle, a family’s fantastical dream becomes a reality. BumbuToys was founded by Vitalie and Marina Bumbu, and together they create toys that transcend playthings, becoming childhood treasures and family heirlooms. Each piece is a unique work of art, handcrafted with an eco-conscious ethos and guided by Waldorf principles, intertwining whimsy and folklore with master craftsmanship, engaging both children and adults alike.

Rooted in a vision of sustainable craftsmanship and heirloom quality, every toy is made from responsibly sourced hardwood and finished with non-toxic, child-safe materials. These detailed creations encourage small-world play, fine motor development, and imaginative storytelling, helping children build confidence, language, and connection through meaningful, open-ended play experiences.

Perfect

This was admittedly an impulse buy, but my goodness it’s just a gorgeous little addition to our celebration table! We have used this elf in our Christmas celebration, however his little lantern makes him suitable for most beautiful magical scenes. The craftsmanship is stunning and I have zero regrets. What a beautiful addition to our collection

Sweet elf for magical fairy world

When deciding on what to include in my daughters magical fairy world for Christmas, I initially didn't jump at the elf. I'm so pleased that I ended up ordering this beautiful piece. The wings are a beautiful blue colour that matches with the Bumbu blue fairy and flower, adding to the visual harmony. I like the diversity that the elf brings to the little world I've created. Oh, and the lamp is very cute!
