Daniela Drescher

Daniela Drescher is a much-loved German author and illustrator, celebrated for her enchanting books filled with fairies, elves, animals, and the quiet magic of nature. Born in 1966 near Munich, Daniela spent her childhood imagining fantastical worlds hidden in hedgerows. She studied art therapy and worked with children for ten years, using painting and poetry as tools for healing and storytelling. Her first picture book, In the Land of Fairies, grew out of this work. Since then, she has created over thirty books, including Pippa and Pelle and their Cosy Home, What's Hiding Under There?, and In the Land of Mermaids, all brimming with gentle beauty and wonder.
