From Jennifer Grammar Set Coins
The Grammar Coins Set from Oskar's Wooden Ark includes 100 coins with a 2.5cm diameter are little coins with a peg on the bottom for fitting them nicely into our Ten, Twenty, and Hundred Frames.
They offer even more learning and play with your number frames as your child places each into the dimples of the boards.
Some activity ideas can be:
- Have your child sort the words into their proper categories.
- Use words to practice creating sentences with proper grammar. Or set up a sentence for your child with the title coins and let them add words above each title coin.
- Place title coins to label each word in the sentence.
- Learn when to use "a" and "an" and which verbs match which nouns.
- After creating a sentence, copy the words onto paper to practice handwriting, reading, and spelling.
