In The Little Christmas Tree by Loek Koopmans, a tiny fir dreams of trading its prickly needles for softer leaves like the other trees in the forest. But when its wish comes true, things don’t go quite as expected, leading to a heartwarming lesson in self-acceptance.

With gentle storytelling and cosy illustrations, this wintry tale is perfect for sharing by the fire on a chilly evening. Young readers will delight in the tree’s magical journey and comforting message.

A sweet reminder that being yourself might be the most wonderful gift of all.
