Predan Wooden Toys are known for their whimsical shapes, solid design and meticulous production.

Georg Predan and his team focus on enhancing and preserving the natural characteristics of the wood and its grain by sanding, polishing and oiling each piece with a lot of love and care. The result, each piece is unique and beautiful by nature.

PLEASE NOTE: The unique variations in colours and grains are proof of quality, NOT defects. Just like in nature, every piece will be unique.

Predan Farm Animals

Timeless Craft In Every Grain Of Wood

Predan embodies handcrafted excellence, creating wooden animals, figures and play worlds since 1972 with deep respect for natural materials and traditional woodworking. From workshop to finished piece, every creation is shaped by hand in Germany, reflecting slow craftsmanship, durability and timeless design for meaningful play.

Made from over 20 locally sourced hardwoods, Predan highlights the natural beauty of each grain, colour and texture rather than covering it. With minimal, plant-based finishing and a strong belief in authentic materials and sustainability, each figure becomes a unique, sensory-rich piece that invites children into imaginative storytelling and open-ended play.

Charming wooden sheep!

Lovely little resting sheep. This figure has a very sweet little pose, as always Predan toys have such a nice smooth finish to touch. The little resting sheep is a tad smaller than expected but is still a nice size, fits well in the palm of your hand. The flat base edge is also a little bit sharp compared to the rest of the model so good to keep in mind if giving to a child.
