Grimm's Blocks

Timeless Wooden Toys For Open Ended Play & Learning

Grimm’s Wooden Toys are crafted in Germany by a family-owned company dedicated to open-ended play, natural materials and timeless design. Since 1978, they have created sustainably made wooden toys that support creativity, learning and meaningful everyday moments for children and adults alike.

Each piece is designed with simple forms, soft colours and tactile wooden textures that invite children to build, stack and imagine freely. Guided by Waldorf and Montessori principles, Grimm’s toys encourage exploration, problem-solving and imaginative thinking without limits or instructions.

Made from sustainably sourced alder, beech, lime and maple wood, every toy is carefully finished using safe, non-toxic colour stains. Built to last for generations, Grimm’s supports fine motor development, sensory learning and creative confidence through beautifully crafted wooden play.

We LOVE this!

We love our concave finds convex finds convex puzzle. My almost 2 year old spent so long trying to find the matching piece and was so pleased with herself when she was able to figure it out (initially with a bit of help!). As well as being educational, it’s so beautiful and looks great in our play room! Love love love!

Simple puzzle and much more

I just love how the pieces can be used as a simple puzzle for my toddler or added into our building blocks as extra interesting shapes.

Well made, interesting shapes and colours

As always Grimms have delivered a quality toy that’s built to last. The pieces can be used for simple colour matching, as a more complicated puzzle or as blocks in play.

Colour and shape sorting fun

My kids are loving this convex puzzle, not only to use as a puzzle but to colour sort, build and even make houses for the lil friends to go in. Just a great add to our collection
