In the heart of Transylvania, steps away from Dracula’s castle, a family’s fantastical dream becomes a reality. BumbuToys was founded by Vitalie and Marina Bumbu, and together they create toys that transcend playthings, becoming childhood treasures and family heirlooms. Each piece is a unique work of art, handcrafted with an eco-conscious ethos and guided by Waldorf principles, intertwining whimsy and folklore with master craftsmanship, engaging both children and adults alike.
Rooted in a vision of sustainable craftsmanship and heirloom quality, every toy is made from responsibly sourced hardwood and finished with non-toxic, child-safe materials. These detailed creations encourage small-world play, fine motor development, and imaginative storytelling, helping children build confidence, language, and connection through meaningful, open-ended play experiences.
We purchased this set to celebrate Valentine’s Day and are completely enamored by the quality and details of the wooden pieces. Our children love playing out stories with them too! Such beautiful pieces that bring our home so much joy!
