Build Beyond the Road
The most captivating road layouts are never just roads. They have geography. A Wobbel board propped at an angle becomes a hill to climb or a tunnel to drive through. A row of KAPLA planks becomes a multi-storey car park or a roadside building. A Bikeho flat bridge carries the road over an imaginary river. A Grimm's rainbow arch frames a gateway into the next neighbourhood.
None of these toys was designed specifically for road play - and that's the whole point. Open-ended play thrives on creative reuse, on children seeing possibility where adults see a balance board or a set of blocks. This collection gathers the pieces that road-play children reach for instinctively - the ones that turn two dimensions into three, and a game into a world.
