Artisan Wooden Worlds For Imaginative Play

In the heart of Transylvania, steps away from Dracula’s castle, a family’s fantastical dream becomes a reality. BumbuToys was founded by Vitalie and Marina Bumbu, and together they create toys that transcend playthings, becoming childhood treasures and family heirlooms. Each piece is a unique work of art, handcrafted with an eco-conscious ethos and guided by Waldorf principles, intertwining whimsy and folklore with master craftsmanship, engaging both children and adults alike.

Rooted in a vision of sustainable craftsmanship and heirloom quality, every toy is made from responsibly sourced hardwood and finished with non-toxic, child-safe materials. These detailed creations encourage small-world play, fine motor development, and imaginative storytelling, helping children build confidence, language, and connection through meaningful, open-ended play experiences.

Another magical piece by Bumbu

Volcanoes aren’t often known for their beauty but this one…. Wow! We absolutely love it. Thrilled to have added it to our playroom.

Statement Piece

Everyone who has seen this toy at our house thinks it is so beautiful, and asks me about it.
My boys love it, and we always put it out with a wooden train set up.
It is so beautiful and well made.

Volcano obsessed? Buy this!

If your little person likes volcanos, then they'll love this. And, if they love volcanos, this set-up will blow their mind. Seriously, don't miss out on this gorgeous piece by Bumbu.

As soon as my 4yo set eyes on this, she immediately rattled off a handful of 'games' to play and off she went! This piece took center stage as a volcano, then as a mountain and an island in the middle of the ocean thanks to the removable lava and clouds; and it makes a beautiful backdrop as a piece of scenery in small world play.

The colours were less vibrant than I expected, but I wasn't at all disappointed as it better matched our other wooden toys.
