Create Waldorf Rainbow Window Stars

CREATE: Origami Rainbow Window Stars

This Christmas season, Kate and her boys are showing us how to create Rainbow Waldorf Window Stars. Check out the video below!

Brighten up your home, while making something beautiful together, strengthening muscles in little hands and taking some time to promote mindfulness with this Waldorf activity.

So, what is mindfulness? It simply means focusing your attention on something, slowing down and not thinking about anything else in that moment. Sitting in a quiet space with your little learner and creating Waldorf Stars provides the perfect opportunity to connect with your child whilst practicing and demonstrating mindfulness.

We love the idea of creating a new star for each day of Advent, and watching your collection of stars grow as you count down to Christmas day. Why not try different patterns and colours? A wonderful activity for the whole family to enjoy!

Please don’t forget to share your Rainbow Stars with us on Instagram or Facebook, tagging @oskarswoodenark. Let's not forget to slow down every now and then and to enjoy this magical season!
