MOOV Baby Learning Tower Kitchen Helper

"Me do it!" Oh how many times have we heard that! Well the good news is that your children can do now with a little help. Empowering children in the kitchen or bathroom to do it for themselves is a fundamental principle of the Montessori method and to be honest, it also just makes life so much easier!

Designed to sit under your kitchen island bench, the tower is lightweight (9.5 kgs) and portable to move around anywhere it is needed. Your little explorer can climb in and out by themselves (pregnant mum’s rejoice) or with a little help from you for the littlest ones. It has a super handy swing gate safety backing to make sure they can't fall out.

The height is adjustable to either 38 or 50 cm from the base; just drop it down as they grow.

Featuring our gorgeous Australian hoop pine dowel rungs with hardwearing plywood sides.

Bubs new favourite place to be!

This learning tower is fantastic, my family and I love it! I would have rated it 5* but there are just a couple of things I think could improve the overall experience. The wood smells very strongly of fish and being a vegan family it’s not exactly the smell we’re after. Moov did offer me a replacement if the smell doesn’t dissipate which is fantastic, but also an effort to dismantle the current tower, post it back, wait for the new one, put the new one together etc. I also wish the instructions had come with pictures or diagrams as a lot of people are visual. Finally the gate should have a mechanism to keep it up, I think that would be easier so the babes can climb up and in themselves (under supervision of course), I’m not sure if it doesn’t have this for a safety reason though. Otherwise we have truely enjoyed the tower so far, it’s a break for my poor arms and back and baby enjoys being part of the kitchen action whether just observing or helping out with washing up, stirring, tearing spinach etc. it’s great to know she’s safe in a sturdy, non-toxic tower :)

Child loves it, EXTREMELY hard to put together.

Seriously hard work to put together, it comes flat packed and it's almost as if the holes in the dowels weren't drilled with the right size bit for the screws. I now have very sore arms and blisters all over my hands, makes IKEA furniture seem like a dream to construct. Kind of disappointing given the price tag.

Otherwise, my daughter loves it - very handy.

Kitchen Saviour!

I ordered this learning tower for my 10 month old who was constantly hanging off my ankles whilst I was cooking in the kitchen. Our kitchen doesn’t allow for baby gates so this learning tower has been amazing for us. Our baby loves to stand and watch us prepare and cook - not to mention the language opportunities cooking in the kitchen gives to our children! The quality of the material is amazing! Thanks so much!

Great concept but the wood has a terrible odour

This product is a great concept. However the wood smells like manure and has made our whole house smell. Also the ladder flops down on its own which hits our bub in the head when he reaches up for it.

Seems expensive for what it is.

This tower is cute and was chosen because it fits under the bench whereas most others are that bit taller and don’t. However it only consists of three main parts and rungs plus a gate. The timber (plywood) is not even coated to provide a wipeable finish so overall I think it is pretty expensive. I have had to apply a varnish coating to protect it. Because of this, I have not put it together yet, so I’m hoping that goes smoothly. My other grandchild has a tower which is very sturdy and cost a lot less ! I just hope my granddaughter loves helping in the kitchen on her tower as much as my grandson does on his.

Waiting still, but looking forward to it

Unfortunately we haven't received this order as yet due to the Corona madness. However sure this product will be terrific and a better option for my toddler to stand on than the kitchen chair.

Beautiful and practical

Arrived before Christmas which was a lovely surprise, it was easy to put together, our 19 month old loves it and so do we

Solid but smelly

This is one solid bit of kit, however you cannot understate the initial smell that arrives. We followed all instructions to open immediately and constructed quite easily. However the odour that emitted off the wood was banished to the backyard for a few days to ease. Two weeks in now and she is great.

Worth the struggle!

We do love our Moov Baby Learning Tower, I don’t have to try and cook with one hand whilst holding my 14 month old. It’s a perfect size for my small kitchen and I love the gate so my daughter can’t fall out backwards which many of the other brands don’t have.
I read the reviews about putting it together before purchasing and I thought, how bad can it be? I’ve made loads of IKEA furniture!! It was however quite tough! I built it myself but it definitely took over an hour, not the 20 mins as stated in the instructions! And I recommend some gardening gloves with rubbery palms to be able to grip the dowels with one hand whilst turning the Allen key in the other hand unless you have really strong hands. It’s was quite fiddly towards the end with a fair bit of swearing on my part.
However, all that said, I would recommend this learning tower as it is so sturdy, safe and stable. It’s going to get a lot of use and it’s made in Australia by an Australian company which is always a good thing.

Great kitchen tower!

We weren’t sure if we’d need a kitchen tower but after a few falls off our chairs we decided to invest in one…. after all sour 2yo helps us cooking every day.
This is easy to assemble, sturdy and toddler loves getting in and out of it. Highly recommend!
(We oiled ours which is why it’s darker)
