Sometimes the simplest things are the best. It’s something we pride ourselves of at MOOV baby. No gimmicks just simple, beautiful design. This Montessori children’s clothes rack is that.

The idea for the dressing stand and its features came from a discussion with a friend. It was about independence but also about adaptable design. So here it is!

In its simplest form, the scale and design of the clothes rack lends itself to beautifully displaying clothes and allowing children to choose and put away their clothes (or fancy dress!). There is space to line up your favourite shoes at the base, tucked inside the feet. It has become an activity of joy and assertion of capability and independence for my 3 year old son. And a thing of fascination for my 18 month old. But, that is not all it is or could be. Pair two together and you have a cubby, a pared back version of our Waldorf-inspire playstand (The Storyteller) or a theatre to entertain crowds.

With 5 purposefully created indents, you can space your pieces out for display (or squish more in, most hangers will work across the whole length) but you can also use them to attach silks, palm fronds or any found item that inspire creativity.

Crafted in Australia entirely from sustainable Australian timber our versatile design can be adapted to your space. Perfect for home, child-friendly height stores or daycares.

Available in "Up High" or "Up High & Down Low"  to suit a range of height ranges.

Buy them in pairs (at a discounted price) and explore the possibilities!

Note the "Up High & Down Low" includes two sets of interchangeable supports to lower or increase the height of the clothes rack.

Dimensions:
Up High: 1200mm high  x 860mm wide  x 380 mm depth (feet)
Down Low: 800 mm high x 860mm wide x 380 mm depth (feet)

(the idea being if you need the 800mm then your child will grow and you can use the 1200mm when they are tall enough).

Safety:
Please note this is not a climbing product, and is not made to be paired with any other climbing equipment in our range. Must be used under adult supervision.

Early Childhood Education based upon the Emmi Pikler approach

The origins of the Pikler triangle climbing frame come from Emmi Pikler, a Hungarian Paediatrician who pioneered theories on child development between the 1930 and 40s. She believed it was important to offer children the opportunities to move naturally according to their inherent ability.
