Grapat Coloured Wooden Marbles

The Grapat Coloured Wooden Marbles from Oskar's Wooden Ark differs from the traditional glass marbles as the weight and texture of a round solid piece of wood is entirely different to glass and so it changes how the balls roll and collide in to one another, even the sound is different. The bright rainbow colours also allows for logical mathematical thinking as it naturally leads the children in to sorting and counting the different pieces.

The Grapat Coloured Wooden Marbles include 36 wooden marbles in six different rainbow colours with included Grapat cloth bag and gift box.

Recommended age 3+ years.

This product contains a small ball which may present a choking hazard. Not suitable for children under 3 years.

Casiana and Jordi, the founders of Grapat Wooden Toys are from a small town in the Pyrenean mountains of Catalunya who were inspired by how their daughter played when given the freedom to play with her natural every day surroundings. They believe that when the toy is somewhat seemingly simplistic and given without instructions, it encourages children to develop a more adventurous and complex activity with it.

Grapat toys are all handmade with love from almost all locally sourced materials and subject to nature making every piece unique. Every part of each toy has been considered from the dimensions of the toy, to the shape or form, the thickness of the wood and the colour.

Perfect addition to marble tree

I bought these as an addition to the wooden marble tree and they make such a beautiful sound with it - I’d recommend anyone getting the marble tree to invest in a set of these also.
They are also being used here for various marble runs with my marble run obsessed child.
The feel and weight of them is lovely.

Great quality!

These are perfect for marble runs and for use with the Magic Wood Marble Sounding Tree as they give a different sound to the marbles provided with the set. We love them!

Wooden marbles

We have had so much fun playing with these beautiful wooden marbles. So many ideas! A favourite has been using our Moov baby ramp to make a marble run with magnetic tiles. My twins loved constructing this and watching the marbles together.

Colourful Wooden Marbles

I bought these to place in our Grimm’s 24 hole spiral at Christmas. A Christmas countdown. Each day in December we will place a marble into a hole. I thought the colours of the marbles would look nice against the natural spiral and it is a simple way to count down the days until Christmas. I might put a candle in the last hole and we will light that instead on Christmas Eve. The marbles themselves feel lovely and have a nice weight to them. We can also use them for marbles runs and colour sorting throughout the year.

A lovey addition!

Whilst our son is still a bit young, these look fantastic in his room. We are slowly building up his collection to play with once he is older.
The colours are stunning and it’s great quality! Can’t wait to see creativity unfold

Grapat Wooden Marbles

I bought these to use on the marble tree (medium) and they fit perfectly! The sound is amazing! My daughter loves taking them out of the bag they come in one by one.

These marbles are beautiful quality. They can be used for so many things in so many ways. At the moment my boys are pretending they’re lollies in a lollie shop. Great for grasping, sorting and playing. We love them!
