Grapat Coloured Rainbow Rings 72 Pieces

$69.95

Grapat 72 Rings in 12 rainbow colours.

Grapat wooden rings provide inspiration for young children to sort, count, stack and thread. They are an inviting open ended toy with which to practise fine motor skills by placing over Grapat Nins, Brots, Wizards and other small objects.  An older child will include them in imaginary games and stories, a magic ring, hidden treasure and so much more.

Size: Rings Diameter approx 4.8cm

Casiana and Jordi, the founders of Grapat Wooden Toys are from a small town in the Pyrenean mountains of Catalunya who were inspired by how their daughter played when given the freedom to play with her natural every day surroundings. They believe that when the toy is somewhat seemingly simplistic and given without instructions, it encourages children to develop a more adventurous and complex activity with it.

Grapat toys are all handmade with love from almost all locally sourced materials and subject to nature making every piece unique. Every part of each toy has been considered from the dimensions of the toy, to the shape or form, the thickness of the wood and the colour.

So many different uses!

My 1yo uses them in a bowl to swish around between her fingers, puts them into other bowls/cars/toys and takes them out again. My 5yo uses them for more imaginative play and counting. Great addition to our collection.

Fun & educational

Such a great product, my little one learnt all their colours through play. Also great for sorting, small world play, mandalas...the possibilities are endless. We coupled these with the coloured rainbow coins and rainbow nins for colour sorting and play.

So far so good

I had heard good things about these rings and ended up buying them. I have a 6 month old and was originally going to put them away for later but she was fascinated with them so I kept them out. She's also just started crawling and loves to knock down towers that I make.
