Glueckskaefer Play Kitchen Double Sided with Stove and Sink
The Gluckskafer 360 Play Kitchen with its natural curved lines is a prime example of Glukskafer's outstanding workmanship and high quality craft. All parts of the Play Kitchen (with the exception of the sink and door handles) are not only made out of FSC certified solid beech and linden wood making it a very robust piece of furniture that will see through many generations of star chefs and culinary creations but it is also finished in natural based oils which allows the beautiful warm wooden grain to remain exposed for aesthetics.
The Play Kitchen is free-standing and has features on all sides with plenty of storage space for dishes, pots, tea towels and other kitchen utensils meaning that several children are able to play at the same time without getting in each other’s way. Features include a stainless steel sink with wooden faucet, turnable taps and cupboard on the one side while the other has a stove and oven with its own wooden baking tray. What is also a fun characteristic of this Gluckskafer Play Kitchen is the little service window found in the middle of the two sides which allows children to send through their carefully prepared dishes to one another without the need to physically walk it around which will simply add more fun and laughter for the children.
Imitating the everyday actions of adults in the home is considered to be a very important step in the development of children and the preparation and cooking of food is certainly an important one. Children as young as one are already eager to learn how to cut their own apple or pour their own orange juice. In their own Gluckskafer Play Kitchen, all these experiences can be replayed independently and most importantly safely.
