This Loader construction vehicle toy will lift the heaviest wooden loads in your BRIO World railway system.

Lift & Load with ease: The loader is built for the toughest jobs. Its striking yellow colour and construction graphics are complemented by a simple lift & load handgrip lever - fun to operate as you pick up and carry the wooden load. Once you are loaded up, take your load to where it needs to go and offload the cargo. The wooden load has a metallic pin making it easy for a BRIO World crane with magnetic function or other lift and load toys to pick up the cargo.

Learning in action: The real-life based cargo play helps with children’s development by combining logical thinking with fine motor skills. Children can improve their hand-eye coordination as they act out each new cargo adventure. The BRIO World is all about learning through the joy of open-ended play, with high quality combined material toys that build real-world confidence.

Loader includes 1x Loader Vehicle, 1x Wooden Cargo.

BRIO is one of the oldest wooden toy manufacturers in the world and has been around since the late 1800s. BRIO’s story began in 1884 when Ivar Bengtsson started selling woodchip baskets in Denmark. In the early 1900s Ivar and his wife moved to Osby, Sweden, where they expanded their product range and started creating and selling wooden toys for children. In 1908 the Bengtssons transferred the company over to their three sons who officially named the company BRIO - an acronym for the Ivarsson brothers of Osby (BRöderna Ivarsson Osby).

Under the directorship of the three brothers the company continued to flourish while keeping the focus on selling wooden toys for children. Over the years BRIO established itself as an internationally well known brand designing and creating many popular wooden toys like BRIO’s iconic train set. Having been the Purveyor to the Royal Court Of Sweden since the 1940s highlights BRIO’s continuity of extraordinary craftsmanship and quality products.

BRIO celebrated its 130th anniversary in 2014 and promised to “pay tribute to the importance of play, celebrating the child within us”. Focussing on free play is becoming more and more important in our fast paced and time-poor world. BRIO’s emphasis on play goes hand in hand with Oskar’s Wooden Ark’s philosophy of supporting you and your family with only the best and most beneficial sustainable toys.
