Sarah's Silks Silk and Wood Teethers

This is just what I wanted for my newborn. It is just beautiful to look and and lovely to hold.
I bought it with the initial intention of hanging it like a mobile for my very inquisitive boy to look at. He loved it as soon as I hung it up. He then very quickly begun reaching for it and has been pulling the silk to his mouth. (All under supervision)
He's had it for a week or two now and I can see it becoming a treasured favourite toy.
So simple and just what a new babe needs. Nothing extravagant or loud. Just a simple silk fluttering in the breeze.

My just shy of 3 month old loves this rainbow silk teether. We use it dangling for her to look at as well as she loves to grab the silk and suck on it. I’m sure she will get a lot of use out of it as she grows as well as it can be used as a play silk once she is done with the teether part :)

Our Sarah’s Silks teether arrived this weekend and has quickly become our 4-month-olds favourite! He can hold the wooden ring himself and loves mouthing on the cloth. The silk is gorgeous and soft and the rainbow colours are so vibrant! He loves it so much I’ve added more silks to the Christmas gift list!

Such a pretty item! I was concerned it might be a bit bright but it’s just perfect. Excited for my little one to arrive to be able to use it!

Gorgeous and high quality

This goes everywhere with my baby. She has been using it since probably 2mo and is currently 4mo (not teething yet). She loves to hold the ring and suck on it and feel the soft silk. She is fussy in the car and pram but enjoys holding onto the silk ring. So much so that we have bought another mini silk to attach to a ring we already have. But in saying that, I am very happy I have the original ring as it is great quality and size.

Specific to Sarah’s silk and wooden teether, my son LOVES it! He was immediately captivated by its beauty. Even before he was able to grasp things he was able to enjoy it while being displayed above him. He also loves the feeling of the silk running softly across his face. Since learning how to grab, this toy is the only one he consistently goes to - even when it’s on offer with several other wooden graspers. This teether gives him independence to play on his own as the silk makes it really easy for him to grasp as he learns to control his hands more accurately. Of course, he loves to explore the different textures with his mouth as well. This teether has so many uses- from being tied to the bumper on his pram to play with to being hung from his mobile.

In addition, the materials are very high quality. The silk is vibrant and soft, and the wooden ring is sanded to perfection leaving no rough surfaces that might hurt my boy.

Overall, I am very happy with my experience! I will definitely continue to purchase toys from this website. I think this will be my go to for baby shower gifts from now on! Thank you Oscark’s Wooden Ark!
