Stunning vibrant game

The game is so much bigger and more solid than I thought it would be. It's just beautiful. My son who is turning two soon can handle the thong himself. He loves taking the little figurines in and out of the bowls. We will use this for a long time to come

Love this! Perfect to evolve with little one's abilities

I got this for my daughter's first birthday and it has been a hit! She's now 20 months old, and it's been such a great toy to show how her interests and capabilities have evolved. At first she just enjoyed playing with the blocks, then started recognising shapes and would 'find the stars' etc. Now we're onto matching and naming colours in the bowls, and she stacks the bowls up to make towers as well. I've put the tweezers away to start with, and have just started bringing them out to practice some fine motor skills - still seeing bit of frustration with them so I'd say we're a few months away yet, but I'll keep offering to see when they're of interest.
Highly recommend this one, it's a constant on our shelf!!

Beautiful and practical

Wonderfully vibrant colours and engaging shapes, our 16 month old likes to dump and put back the shapes. This toy will still be relevant for years to come (and it brings me joy seeing it on the shelf)

Fun and educational

My son started using this at 21 months, and very quickly got the hang of it. The tongs are much easier to use than others we have tried, and the game has kept him engaged for extended periods as he practises picking up and transporting the pieces with the tongs, learning his colours, sorting by shape, etc. He has learned to self-correct when he puts the "wrong" colour in a particular bowl, and gets a real sense of achievement when he colour matches. We've also used the bowls & tongs & the fish pieces in the toy kitchen.

Awesome toy and service!

Received our Grimms sorting game from OWA and my son loves it! He's 2 yrs old and this game helps him to1 learn more about sorting and colours. The tongs included practices his fine motor skills. The service of OWA is awesome from checkout to delivery (plus the handwritten note from Simon is amazing!)

Love it!

The 3yo loves it! He asks to play with it most days. At daycare they’re starting to self serve with tongs, so he’s keen to master this skill. He also enjoys the sorting. Additionally, many of the shapes are used in the play kitchen, to make dinner and the bowls used to eat it! I love that it comes as a set of two. We haven’t introduced it to the 1yo yet, but it may be one toy that they’re happy to share, due to its composition (2 trays, 2 tongs).

Great for skills

I love this toy for my 1 year old. It teaches the fine motor skill of grasping and colour sorting. We sing songs with the shapes as the shapes are recognisable such as fish is for eating, Stars is for twinkle twinkle and heart is - I love you. And the bowls are make believe eating. This toy will be versatile for years to come and it's just so beautiful.

Colours

We’ve had fun sorting colours recently with this toy.
I really like that my little ones don’t need to used an excessive about of force to open/close the tweezers (unlike other plastic ones) as this has been a factor that has prevented them from completing fine motor sorting activities in the past but not with the Grimm’s tweezers.
