New Play Challenge: Easter Egg-stravaganza

Easter is right around the corner, so what better time to engage in some Easter-inspired play and craft activities to get egg-cited about the Easter Bunny's arrival? With Autumn well and truly underway and the ground covered in a blanket of reds and yellows, take your pick of indoor or outdoor play before the big chill rolls in.

Easter Crafts
Week beginning Monday 28th March
Take a leaf out of Jen's book this week, and break a few eggs in the name of art! If that's not your style, perhaps you'll use your Kitpas Art Crayons to decorate your windows with a seasonal display, colour in an Easter drawing, make a card for a loved one, or decorate the shell of an Easter egg. Get as creative as you please!

Week beginning Monday 4th April

Easter Eggs
Week beginning Monday 11th April
Easter egg hunt anybody?! Whether you choose to use the chocolate or loose parts variety - make sure you bring your Olli Ella basket to put your findings in! If you're leaving the hunt closer to Easter, why not create an Easter egg flat-lay or mandala instead?

Passing Seasons
Week beginning Monday 18th April
Is there anything more beautiful in nature than the passing of the seasons? The leaves changing colours, flowers blooming and animals going into and coming out of hibernation - nature offers so many intricate wonders for us to observe all year round. How do you like to learn about the passing of seasons? Using a weather chart, drawing a picture, or maybe reading a book?

How to enter the #PLAYTIMEWITHOSKAR Play Challenge:
To take part in our Let's Play #PLAYTIMEWITHOSKAR Play Challenge, head over to Instagram or The Wooden Ark Family Facebook group and share an image or video in response to the Play Challenge prompt for that week. Interpret the prompt any way you wish, using any Oskar’s Wooden Ark toys or craft materials! Make sure to tag us, @oskarswoodenark, and use the hashtags #PLAYTIMEWITHOSKAR AND #OWAEASTER so that we can find your entry.
Note: Instagram entries must be from a public Instagram account.
Enter as many times as you like over the course of the challenge cycle.
Winners will be announced at the end of the Play Cycle, with a special 'Winners' video'.
