3 Ways to Recycle an OWA Cardboard Box

Do you have boxes left over from shopping with Oskar's Wooden Ark? Don't throw them away, repurpose them! We have 3 great DIY projects for you. Recycle your cardboard boxes and make the fun last!

DIY Project 1 - Doll's Bed
You will need:
• Recycled Cardboard Box
• Craft knife or scissors
Step 1:
Cut three flaps of the cardboard box with a craft knife or scissors.
Step 2:
Use the craft knife or scissors to cut rounded edges for the cardboard headboard. You can then decorate the headboard with small accessories or colour it in with Kitpas Crayons.
Simply add the Olli Ella Bedding Set to finish your cozy dolls bed.
DIY Project 2 - Cardboard Grabber
You will need:
• Recycled Cardboard Box
• Craft knife or scissors
• Split Pins
• Kids at work Craft Glue
Step 1:
Use the craft knife or scissors to cut six cardboard strips
(around 4 x 22cm).
Step 2:
Create a criss-cross pattern with your cardboard strips and add split pins to connect them.
Cut 2 more cardboard strips to add a cute or scary face with teeth and glue them to one side of the grabber.
DIY Project 3 - Shadow Puppet Theatre
You will need:
• Recycled Cardboard Box
• Craft knife or scissors
• Split Pins
• Kids at work Craft Glue
• Mercurius Japanese Silk Tissue Paper
Step 1:
Cut off most of the cardboard box flaps with your craft knife or scissors, only leaving a small edge of around 2-3cm.
Glue one sheet of the Mercurius Japanese Silk Tissue Paper to the inside of the opening.
Step 2:
Use four split pins to secure the four corners of the box.
Simply add a small light or torch to the inside of the box and everything is set for your children's puppet show.
